After asking which charity they would like to support in 2014, staff at Tozer Seeds voted for Cherry Trees respite care as its chosen charity. Cherry Trees provides professional respite care for children and young people with disabilities. The charity, which is set in the village of East Clandon, near Guildford, relies on the support of individuals and organisations to keep the charity operating and maintained. So far the company has raised £218.65 from selling sausage and bacon baps and holding an Afternoon Tea at their head office.

Managing Director Steven Winterbottom visited the charity and found an ideal space for a vegetable garden and it seemed only natural for the company to get involved. So far with the help of the children we have been spraying, rotivating, planning and sowing seeds. Steven says “we are delighted to be involved with such a wonderful local charity.”
