Known as Kalettes in the USA, the Flower Sprout has now made its way to North America, available from this Autumn. Tozer Seeds have been working closely with Golden Sun Marketing in the USA to help launch the product into the American market. Kraig Kuykendall, Sales Manager of Tozer Seeds America, said “We started selling seed in the U.S. in 2012 and quickly realized that this new vegetable was going to be a huge hit with consumers due to the popularity of both vegetables.” Plans for the U.S. launch include consumer and social media activity. The Kalettes website has just been launched: http://kalettes.com which offers recipes, a Facebook page and other outlets have been established.
